About Us/Me

Hello.  Thank you for taking the time to learn about our family.   We are Natalie and Jeremy.  We live in a suburb of Seattle, WA.  Natalie is a speech therapist who works in early intervention with birth to 3 year olds and Jeremy is a registered nurse who works at a hospital in the city.   In December 2018 we were blessed with the opportunity to get to know 3 year old twins (a boy and a girl) and since June 2019 they have become a permanent part of our family.  Since our adoption is not yet finalized we have to respect their privacy and cover their beautiful faces with hearts.  We are happy to say that we have a wonderful relationship with their birth dad and their paternal grandparents. Our extended families have met and have had  the joy of spending special days together.  In fact, the birth dad and grandparents recently came to our house for the twins' 4th birthday party and we also got to spend time with them on Christmas Eve.  Yesterday the twins went to their grandparents’ house for a snow day and got to go sledding with their birth dad.  Their grandparents live 10 minutes from us and Natalie's sister and nieces and nephew live 20 minutes from us.

Words cannot describe the love we feel towards our twins’ birth parents and grandparents.   We feel an incredible honor having been chosen by the grandparents to care for these twins.  We are beyond grateful to be a part of their family.

We are ready to welcome a baby and another birth family to complete our family.   I know the twins will be the best big brother and sister ever!  The twins attend a preschool 4 days per week and attend childcare at our local YMCA.  They are high energy and love to be silly and build forts and ride their scooters and bikes with the neighborhood kids.   They also love music and dancing and are currently taking gymnastics lessons.  Our little girl enjoys art and likes to paint and decorate our sidewalk and refrigerator with her creations, and our little boy likes his Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars and tracks and racing his remote control cars.

As a family, we enjoy riding bikes together, going on hikes, board games (our favorite right now is Pop the Pig), movie nights, going to the zoo,  aquarium, and to local farms.

About You

Thank you for taking the time to read our profile.  We chose Choice Network as our adoption agency because we believe in choice and truly wanted an agency that was committed to supporting all choices.   We want you to make the best choice for you and want you to know that we equally respect all choices.  From our experience with the twins we know first hand that fostering/adopting involves both loss and joy and all the emotions in between.  Going through this process with the twins' grandparents and birth dad has been the most rewarding and the most difficult journey that Jeremy and I have ever taken.   We have pictures of the birth dad and grandparents in our house and the twins will always know that they were loved from the start.  We are thrilled to have an open relationship with their birth dad and grandparents and our door is always open to the birth mom should she decide to become a part of their lives again.  We promise that same openess and commitment to you should you want it.  Your baby will always know that you are strong, brave, beautiful, and kind and wanted the best for them.   We wish you peace and hope you have the support you need during this time.
