About Us/Me

Hello!  We are Dave and Leah Sadlon and this is our story: We have lived in Ohio all our lives.  Dave grew up near Cleveland with his parents and older brother.  Leah grew up in Athens with her parents and three younger siblings.  We now make our home in Columbus, in between both of our families. We met in college at Ohio University in 2005. Our friendship began while we were both involved in an outreach ministry to high school students and continued to grow as we coached a high school track team together.

About You

It's difficult to find the right words to express all that is in our hearts when we think of you-- the birth mother and your family.  We will be forever connected together out of love for a child.  Whether you choose us to love, care for, and parent your child or not, your sacrificial decision is based on what you hope and dream for your child.  Your decision will impact your child, his or her adopted family, and yourself.  We hope that through the pain and loss of giving your baby for adoption, you will have peace in your heart, knowing that everything you're going through is out of deep love for your child.

About Us/Me

Through these experiences, we got to know each other well and eventually started dating.  We are grateful our marriage is built on a strong foundation of friendship, teamwork, and faith.  We've been married for 7 years and have two dogs, Cosmo and Winnie.  We live in a ranch home with an acre of land, in a quiet and peaceful part of Columbus.  Dave works on websites for a living and Leah works in the teaching field for now but plans to stay home with our future children.  Our faith, family, and friends are important to us and also provide a wonderful support network.  We enjoy many activities together like being outside working on our yard and garden, cheering on the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Cavs, going on walks with our dogs, playing board games, and watching TV shows.  Dave enjoys playing golf when he gets the chance and working on home improvement projects.  Leah likes to go running and do art projects. We have always known we would grow our family through adoption at some point but didn't expect it would be the way our family begins.  After 2 years of infertility, we chose not to go down the path of fertility treatments and decided to pursue adoption.  We don't know what the future holds or how our story will become intertwined with another but we look forward to this journey we are on.
